Masjid Bilal Donations
“Alms are for the poor and the needy, and those employed to administer the (funds); for those who hearts have been (recently) reconciled (to Truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah; and for the wayfarer: (thus it is) ordained by Allah, and Allah is full of knowledge and wisdom.” Holy Quran, Surat Al-Tawbah, Ayat 60.

As of this writing, we have hired Mr. AAron Godwin as a general contractor to oversee the repair work needed for our masjid. We felt it would be best to hire someone experienced, licensed, and bonded, responsible for the repairs. More information will come on Mr. Goodwin’s experience and credentials.
We currently have $40,500.00 in our building fund account from pledges, drive-through dinners, and bank loans. Four significant repairs must be done, which include:
1) Replacement of rooftop ventilation system (air ducts).
2) The three A/C-Heating units on the roof need to be re-positioned, or their weight will cause roof leaks.
3) The brick facade (the building’s brick face) has crumbled in many places, and bricks have fallen from the building walls.
4) Each of the three outside staircases needs significant work, along with the handrails.
All pledge amounts to the building fund are greatly needed. We encourage you to take time out to donate to Masjid Bilal of Cleveland.
